Product: Low, Medium and High Carbon Steel Grades according to Egyptian and International Specifications with the following dimensions:

  • Square Billets 130, 150 mm Length from 4 to 12 meter

  2. Electric Arc Furnace ( Finger shaft ) 120 t
  3. Fume Treatment Plant (FTP)
  4. Ladle Furnace (LF)95 t

  9. Shredded conveyor charge system

Process Description:

  Charging cold DRI and scrap to Electric Arc Furnace for melting by Electric and Chemical Energy, tapping molten steel into Ladle after achieving required Temperature, transfer Ladle to Ladle Furnace to adapt Chemical composition by adding Ferroalloys to required Steel Grade, casting molten steel in copper mould tubes has the required Dimensions (cross section) and cut Billets according to the required length.

Plant Start Up: 2013

Product: Low, Medium and high Carbon Steel Grades according to Egyptian and International Specifications with the following dimensions:

  • Square Billets 130, 150, 165, and 200 mm Length from 6 to 14 meter
  • Round Billets 220, 280, 350, and 400 mm Length from 8 to 12 meter
